Surviving Swat Teams to Empower a Real America

On Valentine's Day this year the home of Walter Reddy was invaded by a Swat Team. The Reddy home is located in an area of Weston, Connecticut which has seen the original modest homes, set on lots of around two acres, which still describes the Reddy home, replaced by mansions, owned mostly by wealthy members of the corporate elite.

The man who filed a police report on Walter is a long time neighbor, Rand McNeil. Rand frequently came over to have coffee with Walter, always inquiring about the possibilities of buying Walter's home. Walter would smile and decline all offers as he poured out another cup of coffee for Rand. Yet on this occasion Rand reported to the police Walter threatened the police – but refused to sign an affidavit.

Then, two Special Agents for the FBI named Walter as a 'person of interest' regarding domestic terrorism.

After being held in handcuffs for hours as his neighbors drove by, staring, Reddy was not charged with a crime, but the judge decided to keep his weapons. There as no evidence of any wrong doing on Reddy's part. Walter was astonished to hear he was supposedly a threat to others, or at least those were the boxes the officials had checked off.

Rand refused to sign an affidavit attesting to the truth of the statements he had made, covertly, to police. The mission, probably to kill Reddy, fizzled, the reason is not discussed in court or in the media but can be surmised, given the evidence.

Sometimes you have to look at the facts not immediately in evidence to see the likely chain of causality. In December 2010 Walter Reddy had a meeting with Stan Crouch of Herbert J. Sims & Co., Inc. The firm is located in Fairfield, Connecticut at 2150 Post Road, Suite 301. The meeting took place in Crouch's tastefully appointed office. Walter was hopeful this large and ,presumably, respectable firm would want to be involved in the plans he and a group of investors, economists, and activists had worked so hard to organize for the Sovereign State Depository. It was an ambitious plan, but one they believe Americans desperately need today, as the dollar continues to fail.

Across the expanse of polished wood, Crouch's partner, Victor Saul, had sat listening to the plan to provide the states with a way to use units of gold and silver bullion as money. Victor's eyes, bugging out with shock, said, “They are going to kill you.”

Stan Crouch's comment was, perhaps, even more illuminating. “They will send the military to come down on the states.” Walter was incredulous. He asked, “Are you out of your mind?” Clearly, they viewed the world very differently – or understood those in control to different degrees.

We, the people, have a right to our life, our liberty, and our property.” Said Reddy. “Our property includes gold and silver.” Stan responded, “Gold and silver does not belong to the people. All of it belongs to the Federal Reserve. By the way, I have been down in the basement of the Federal Reserve. I've seen what they have stored there.”

Later, Walter was told by a friend, who is also a broker, that Stan Crouch was closely affiliated with Goldman Sachs. Walter had been told Stan was like-minded, in the cause of liberty, something entirely untrue.

The exchange clarifies the beliefs of of bankers and finance people, such as Stan Crouch. This relatively small and select group believe while ordinary Americans hold precious metals all of this form of wealth really belongs to the Federal Reserve. Your hold on your precious metals is temporary. The FED retains the right to confiscate gold, as happened in 1933 through the order of FDR.

Walter Reddy is an older man, a retired contractor, raised during the tumultuous 60s, he remembers with pride having circulated petitions to ensure passage of the 26th Amendment, giving 18 year olds the right to vote. Young men, then going off to Vietnam, could at least cast a ballot. Walter always votes, remembering the importance of being an active and informed citizen. Today, as he votes, he remembers the men who died and those who returned to harassment and rejection.

Walter has been active in his community, doing volunteer work, for most of his adult life. No product of wealth, Walter Reddy was raised a military brat. He understands the sacrifices servicemen make when they are told they must fight to preserve freedom.

Walter loves his modest home. The stand of pines, over 100 feet in height, borders the property, providing a sense of peace, reminding him of his own life's journey, which has been full of unexpected discoveries. Along with his hands-on work as a contractor, he sees to the plants he raised, watching them grow and prosper, as he wants America to grow and prosper, leaving him time to work to strengthen his community.

One of the organizations to which Walter belongs is the SAR, Sons of the American Revolution. He is proud to be descended from Henry Adams, sharing the same lineage with Sam and John Adams, men to whom freedom and individual rights mattered more than life itself.

Walter studied the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence, for which his ancestors fought, and died, while first a member of the SAR. Understanding that all people, from every culture and place, have the same inherent, God-given rights, Reddy also knows, in his bones, governance must be local to affirm the individual power and rights of all people. Walter Reddy believes people should use persuasion, not coercion and force, governing through consensus, as was usual in much of New England when the Revolution was fought.

No matter where Walter is, or what he is doing, he carries in his mind the vision of a people who actively affirm their rights through self-governing and benevolence at the local level. Walter is a follower of Christ.

During the year Walter Reddy spent in Israel in 1983, first living on a kubbutz, he came to see how the message of Christ was carried through time in the actions of people who worked together, rejecting conflict to embrace brotherhood. While in Israel he worked side by side with Jews and Muslims who lived in peace. The two vital principles Walter found in the words of Christ which profoundly moved him in his study of Americans founding documents, he expresses and the Purse and the Sword.

For his last three months in Israel, Walter lived in Jerusalem, attending a Baptist Church. There, he realized a church is not a building or denomination. It is made up of the people, living in Christ. His congregation in Jerusalem was forced to meet in a tent behind their building. The church had been firebombed and they were raising money to rebuild.

Aware even then of the potential for violence in the world, Walter took to heart the words Christ spoke to his gathered disciples after the Last Supper. Jesus said to them, Gospel of Luke 22:35-36, “Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?”
Nothing,” they answered. But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. “

The Purse refers to the exchanges of commerce. Americans must have sound money. The Sword refers to the right of all people to organize in defense of their homes and communities.

Walter is the founder of two organizations. The first is Committees of Safety, which reclaim these two vital powers. The second is the Sovereign State Depository, which Stan Crouch learned of in December, 2010 less than two months before Rand McNeil laid false reports against Walter, his neighbor for over 25 years.

Rand McNeil owns extensive real estate holdings. McNeil's ex-wife's family name is Goelet. McNeil told Walter her family owns the majority share in JP Morgan-Chase and have been majority stock holders, going back to the corn exchange and chemical bank. But, he confided in Walter years ago, you won't see their name very often because they take care it not appear in public.

McNeil owned an airport in Vermont before he retired. How, he indulges his interest in sailing. Rand grew up on the Gold Coast and his grandfather was a partner of John D. Rockefeller's in Standard Oil.

Rand's job, while he worked, was to do research on land titles to find property which was not claimed so he could claim it for himself, according to what he told Walter. While they have been neighbors for 15 years the two men have known each other for 25 years.

The meeting at H. J. Sims Company, Inc. took place December, 2010. Around February 1, 2011 Rand McNeil dropped by to see his old friend, Walter, and asked for advise on buying a shotgun for protection. It was the first time in 25 years the subject was raised. The area where their homes are located is remote from town.

Walter, had two legally owned firearms, one an antique revolver, and the other a 12 gauge shot gun, kept locked in a case. Rand asked to see the shotgun. Walter took him upstairs, to the case where it was kept. Taking it out of the case, Walter unloaded it, a normal procedure, and handed it to Rand, who examined it as Walter and he discussed the problem with home invasion by violent criminals, which are happening more frequently across the country. Rand handed the gun back, Walter replaced it in its case. The whole examination took around 10 minutes.

Walter has not fired the shotgun in 15 years. But he understands legally it is his responsibility to defend himself, as it is for all Americans. This is why he bought the shotgun originally, as do many people who live in remote areas. If the police fail to protect citizens they are not responsible because this duty belongs legally, first and foremost, to individual Americans. This principle has been upheld over and over again in court.

The day after asking Walter for advice on owning a shotgun Rand called and gave Walter a warning. “Walter, if you don't stop what you are doing, I'm warning you, you are going to be sorry.” He repeated himself several times, according to Reddy. The warning was explicitly about providing the states with the means to transact business using gold and silver.

The words of Stan and Victor resonate with those uttered by Rand. The three men share a common brotherhood in banking, investing, and and life-style.

On February 8th Rand McNeil went to the police to make his report mentioned earlier. He falsely accused Walter of brandishing his shot gun in his bedroom and making threats against the police and the the banks. Walter is now disarmed and unable to defend himself from the next swat team they send. Knowing that has only increased Walter's determination to ensure Americans their power of Purse and Sword.

Please keep him in your prayers and visit his websites. Our next article on Walter will go into a program now being organized to help veterans come all the way back from war to peace.

Your Wishes Can Change the World

This year, as we watch the world around us collapsing, we are learning that Christmas is not about money. Christmas is about loving each other, about gifts that have nothing to do with the green folding stuff, or even silver and gold.

Our money is melting down into worthless goo. Stores are closing; cameras are going up at intersections across the country. This morning I received a call from a friend in Florida who argued for twenty minutes at her bank where she has done business for twenty years. The problem? They wanted to photograph her eyes biometrically. She refused, but not many are as determined as she.

The things that really matter will endure. Gifts like compassion, empathy, humor, familial love and friendship, last a life time and cannot be devalued. This Christmas we need to hold on to those things.

Christmas is being family. It is coming together to create communities. It is being conscious of how our actions and lives touch through time.

For months, years, I have been writing about what was going to happen to our nation and to the people we love. Last year I predicted the end of the world as we know it. Every week I have hammered on the same subject and on what needs to be done so that we can change direction. I have been writing and thinking about the problems for what seems like a life time. What I write is generally politics, but this time I want you to see why I know that change is possible. I know what it is like to feel helpless and lost.

Christmas is loving each other as we are loved by One Who Loves Absolutely.

When you find the strength of love anything is possible. This past week I took a story I had originally written for my children and rewrote it for you. Is a story about a time when I was lost and desperate. Instead of giving up I found the Christmas that glows through the hard times, endures through hardships and seemingly insurmountable problems.

The Star for Christmas was my response to circumstances beyond my control in 1979. There is always strength to sustain us, if we reach beyond ourselves to That One Who Loves Absolutely. Today, we are all reaching. When we extend ourselves we grow spiritually, finding things more wonderful than we could possibly have imagined as long as we do not give up. One of the things we will find is each other.

In 1979 I experienced a time of terrible anguish but I still had small children who needed me, needed to feel the wonder of Christmas. I reached into my own past and found strength from the memories of someone who had taught me the importance of courage, of holding on to my dreams and wishes.

The Star for Christmas custom began that year, drawn from the memories of wishes I had shared with James Dean. In 2001 I began writing the book explaining the custom to my children soon after Thanksgiving Day. Ayn, my youngest daughter, had asked me a question as we sat around the table after dinner. It had been a perfect holiday filled with happy memories revisited and cooperative efforts over turkey and stuffing.

The year was sliding towards the upcoming holidays. We were remembering Christmas' past.

Ayn asked me one of those questions that you never anticipate being asked. That question lead to many insights and eventually to their book and then to this one. The question Ayn asked was about the star in which our family had traditionally placed our wishes for the year to come on Christmas Eve. “When and where did this custom begin?” Ayn asked. She assumed it to be an old New England custom. Although I told her this was not the case it occurred to me that I had not actually explained the custom's origin to my children. I did not share my pain of 1979 with them, feeling it would be inappropriate.

I promised to write the Star’s history for them.

Later, as I sat down to write, I revisited my thoughts that year the custom began. Seeking the Star’s origin became a quest into the dusty reaches of my mind and heart, then, via paper trails, to memories of people long gone. I had never revisited those events, simply sealing them off and moving on. Through this journey I found not just the Star but many more unasked questions. I also found answers to questions that I didn’t know needed asking.

My wishes of 1979 had been answered in ways I did not expect when I considered them. I had never understood the power of hope and the strength of my dreams until then. We need to look at the world, ourselves, and realize what really matters.

Our dreams and wishes can be transformational.

Let this Christmas become a time of renewal for all of us. Savor the love that extends your life into those around you. Bake cookies and let them melt in your mouth. Enjoy every bite. Then plan for a very different future than the one being planned for us. Your wishes can change the world.

A Star for Christmas benefits America Goes Home, a spiritual association dedicated to making tools available that you need to make your wishes reality. Go to Star for Christmas to read more and join our FaceBook group, Gifts From the Heart, to share your ideas for Christmas Gifting.

Armageddon or Freedom. Never have we had more reason for optimism

No one has to tell you that America's economy is melting just like the Wicked Witch of the East. The stock market is slipping south; the currency market is volatile; more Americans every day face eviction; and naturally the government is grabbing food for its own use. Suppliers of food, intended to be used for long term storage, are being confiscated; the contracts signed with buyers, ignored.

To the chagrin of the US Senate laws intended to fight terrorism that provided common data bases for law enforcement at the county, state, and federal levels, are now being applied to all crime. Those data bases are being used as I write. And crime is what the Executive Branch says it is. Scary thought.

Many of those serving in the Senate, not known for their rectitude, are chagrined. Everyone, even those serving in Congress, have limits and the limits have been reached for most of us.

Questions are being raised. Let's consider for a moment what questions really need to be asked. Those questions frame the dialogue that creates world in which we live. This is why there was that almost physical shiver of fear among the power elite when Ron Paul was actively eviscerating that paradigm last year. “We just walked in, we can just come home!” said Paul of our presence in Iraq. Words and acts build the walls of our world; they also tear down one, building another.

The Paul response to our presence in Iraq powered a movement still redefining how we view nearly everything. And slowly the boundaries that kept us is the carefully constructed world where 'just wars' are directed against nations that have resources desired by major corporations, have stopped making sense. Ron Paul makes sense; his words spoke truth. He gave his supporters hope, real hope instead of hype.

Many people no longer think voting makes any difference. The revelations of such people as Bev Harris of Black Box Voting tells us she is right. We grow uneasy at the focus and expense of campaigning that means nothing. People continue to look for people who offer something they can believe in.

Many people are very positive about at least one part of the present Republican ticket. The Palin nomination for Vice President was an attempt to redirect the power of the Ron Paul Revolution to another focus. While her selection was the product of masterly stage managing, it is working.

Palin has not yet proven herself to be just another politician. Therefore people can hope. She is a woman; therefore many are eager to trust. She is a mother; therefore many want to love her.

The question there is whether the politically not so naïve Palin, who has very willingly abandoned positions that proved to be unpopular before, will remain controllable. Palin is already placing herself at the top of the ticket; reflecting that she knows what she brings to the table. Appearing with McCain in Iowa, attendees began walking out 5 minutes into the McCain speech. And the poll associated with my article, “Sarah Palin, Ron Paul and Perception versus Reality” showed indications that support for Palin, increases if she sheds McCain. Knowing she has the traction this may well be more a Palin Presidency than anyone, especially McCain, imagined. The other picks provide no potential surprises. Would anyone care if Biden announced he was a transsexual? Probably not, even if anyone could remember who he is.

The present Wag the Dog Extravaganza, put on to distract and provide desperately needed framing for the same old bunch of political and media subcontractors to the Prime Powers is really irrelevant in the long term but it certainly provides color and insight.

Over and over again, people are looking for answers and hope. They found that in Dr. Paul; they are finding that in Sarah Palin, and they are finding new meaning in old words, understanding that may well bring new hope from a very unexpected direction. As America retreats into third world status Americans are finding new meaning in old words.

What is now unfolding has an amazing similarity to the scenario laid out in Revelations. If you understand the Beast in Revelations not as a living thing but as a human invention many things make sense, strangely enough. The Beast is a creature like no man had ever seen.

Revelations 4

[6] And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
[7] And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
[8] And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

What was John seeing? Was it spoiled fish or something yet to come? Among the visions of death and disaster came a warning.

Revelations 7

[3] Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

John of Patmos warned against outrages against the Earth. Very environmentally appropriate and remarkably relevant for today.

Revelations 9

[20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
[21] Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

It sounds as if John could have been seeing the impact of corporate greed on the Earth. Today corporations are using the power of money to own the water we drink, control the air we breath, and the food we need to survive. It would explain a lot if the curious amalgamation of corporations, private and corporate, were the many headed Beast. Corporations on the multinational level and the 'governments' that are, in fact, themselves corporations, have blended to the point where you cannot define where one stops and another begins.

Revelations 17

[8] The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

“..and it is not, and yet is?” Sounds like what a corporation would look like to someone used to real people. Corporations are made up entities, existing only through our suspension of disbelief.

Revelations 21

[5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

[6] And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

And that sounds like we will come through this to a new world. Hope is a wonderful thing to have now as we experience the final logic of corporate greed in all its forms. Remember that as the meltdown continues.

As our economy melts we watch dollars issued by a private corporation, the Federal Reserve Bank, used to bail out other corporations, for instance AIG, Fanny Mae and their friends. The corporation that is authorizing those bailouts is yet another corporation, the one we think of, incorrectly, as a government. That is the Municipal Corporation of the District of Columbia. In case you did not know its charter was issued from the State of Delaware in 1871. You probably know that the Federal Reserve Bank is a private corporation owned, mostly, by European banks.

I bet you did not know that your town, county, and state are also.....corporations. You can check this out by looking up their Dunn and Bradstreet EIN numbers and then inquiring where their incorporating papers were filed.

Corporations, are not people in the sense St. John knew them, but defined by statute as persons against all reason to avoid accountability. All of these artificial entities are joined at the hip. We see them as Halliburton, Koch Industries, your local county, the State of California, the Federal Government on ad nauseum. But they are all corporations hiding behind a fiction. They pretend to be people; they are not. We are the people.

The world is about to change and Revelations makes it clear who is going to get it in the neck.

What Law Enforcement Needs to Know

There is no Nuremberg Defense for those who violate the Constitution – Take Note.

Nuremberg delivered a message that is very much on point today for those in government; If you are employed in law enforcement, take heed. Most police and sheriffs today have been lied to, sold a bill of goods. Most believe that they do not have to uphold the Constitution; they believe they are safe from prosecution and accountability if they follow orders. That principle was debunked in Nuremberg and will be again.

Cops hear it from 'up the chain of command,' they hear it when they go into court to testify. But as they violate the rights of those their oath promises to preserve and protect they walk on thin ice. They are listening to lies, putting reliance in falsehoods. Americans are slow to anger but anger is coming. If you swore to uphold the Constitution, take note.

Most judges sitting on the bench today are there unlawfully. An example is Thomas Anderle, who is 'on the bench' in Santa Barbara County. Anderle, an exemplar of all that is wrong with the system; he has ignored his obligation to affirm the oath of office mandated by both the State of California and the US Constitution. Full of arrogance, he rewrote the pledge, eliminating its most important parts and has posted no bond, paid for by himself. This noticed, all decisions he rendered are void. Anderle and other judges understand this. Today, many are frantic to set up trusts that immunize them from what will come so they can keep their ill-gotten gains. Those who set up off shore trusts for individuals report increasing trade from clients in government. Those in law enforcement remain oblivious; they are unaware of the liabilities they face.

Judges knowingly encourage law enforcement officers to commit unconstitutional acts, for instance traffic tickets. Most in law enforcement are less well educated and used to just taking orders. The incomes of judges are heavily dependent on the monies squeezed out of Americans in this and other ways – and selling verdicts is profitable. Compliant cops are essential to those profits. Cops will be left flat-footed, mouths gaping when called to account for their actions. They should not expect support from those who are now giving the orders. Bush will be in Paraguay, which has no extradition; No accident.

But a few courageous individuals have always been willing to stand up for the rights granted, not by government but by God, as set out in the Declaration of Independence. These examples stiffen the spine and show us the way.

Charlie Sprinkle insisted on a jury trial when he refused to take out a driver's license in 1973. The jury later told him they would have found him innocent if the judge had not directed them to find him guilty. That, in case you did not know, also violated the Constitution. The Constitution was written to be used with the Common Law and that system of justice, in use for over a thousand years, relies on the ability of the jury to determine matters of both law and fact. That was affirmed in our Constitution because of the Zenger Case heard in New York in 1735. Zenger broke the law; that law was publishing the truth about the Royal Governor in New York. That case gave you the 1nd Amendment and the case was alive in the minds of our Founders when they wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The truth needs no excuse and makes no apology. Law and fact are both determined by the jury in the Common Law. Juries are intended to exercise veto power over legislation that violates the Constitution. Both by elections and the law, the power was to remain in the hands of the people.

During Charlie's attempts to resist compliance with the fine the court had demanded the judge leaned forward and said, “I know we are committing treason but there is nothing I can do about it. If I let you comply with the Constitution the US will be broke in three days.” Charlie again refused. “No, Sir,” said Charlie, “The Constitution does not give government the right to force Americans to have licenses. I'm not going to do it.” And he didn't.

Eventually, Charlie went to jail because he refused to pay the $35.00 fine mandated by the court for not complying and having a driver's license. Charlie was and is a Constitutionalist. He knew perfectly well that the Constitution does not give the government the right to force people to have a license to drive.

After refusing to pay the first time Charlie was asked to come back in thirty days after he had considered whether or not he would pay. Returning in one month, Charlie informed the court he did not have $35.00 in legal tender. Legal tender was, Charlie informed the judge, gold or silver coin, as stated in Article 1, section 9 of the U. S. Constitution. To pay in Federal Reserve Notes would be to conspire with the court in treason, a criminal act. When you see what is right, you do it. Charlie did that.

Charlie went to jail because his conscience allowed him no alternative. Today there are more decent men and women serving time in jail than there are in law enforcement or on the bench or in any area of 'public service.'

That is one reason we need more men like Charlie and Sheriff Richard Mack.

Decent and honorable men like Sheriff Mack have tried to warn us and get the word to law enforcement officials. While still a cop handing out traffic tickets Richard Mack saw that what he was doing violated the oath he had taken to uphold the Constitution. Until then he had not read that document. When he saw that he changed how he did his job. He became a peace officer, working to serve and protect.

In 1994 it was Sheriff Mack who filed against the Brady Bill, overturning that unconstitutional law with the Mack-Printz Decision in 1998. There have always been individuals who stood up and did the right thing. Mack is still speaking out today and he will never be silenced.

When Charlie got out of jail in 1973 he filed a law suit against Ronald Reagan, then governor of California, and his wife, Nancy. He called Nancy a welfare queen sucking at the public trough. After the law suit was filed, and after the lawyers failed three times to have the suit dismissed, Charlie received an offer. He was then living in the low rent district of Ventura, California.

A sleek black limo rolled up to Charlie's door. Charlie was watching the neighborhood; he knew the authorities were a touch annoyed with him. Two guys got out of the car dressed in dark suits. They came to the door and asked for Charlie. Charlie today confessed to being a little cautious. The two men told Charlie that if he did not pursue the law suit he would never be molested again. Charlie considered this and told the two men he would think about it.

Charlie let 15 minutes go by. Then he got in to his car and took off for the 101 Fwy heading north towards Santa Barbara going 90 miles an hour. He passed a CHP car and then pulled over, waiting for the CHP to stop, which it did.

The officer asked for Charlie's license. Charlie told the officer he did not want or need a license.. The officer asked for his name. Informed, the officer asked if there was anything he could do to help. Charlie declined and the officer nodded and returned to his car. Today Charlie still does not have a license.

That should be all of us. Together, it can be. Know your rights, stand up for them.

It does not matter if you are an American. All of us are invested with inherent rights before any government existed. Government did not give you your rights; it cannot take them away. Each of us is sovereign over ourselves but over no one else. America is the nation made up of the people who govern themselves. If someone tells you different refer them to Thomas Jefferson.

Those in law enforcement need to understand that the people are the government. We are slow to anger, slow to act. As Thomas Jefferson said so eloquently,

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

Freedom is not free, but it is worth the price, We paid that price once and we can do it again.

Our Constitution - The Open Source for Freedom.

Last week I wrote about the martial law that those in power have been planning for so long. That is the bad news; there are a few more things you should keep in mind as the status quo continues to shred.

Those in power are going to lose. They are the past, the top-down form of human organizing that has always been overthrown by the people with time. We are in the final throes of a revolution that began to reverse the centralization of power with the computer. Now, it is spreading. Those in power know this. Their plans reflect that fear..

Just as we are seeing that open source software will always win we are witnessing a transformation in ourselves. Top-down structure makes those in power dinosaurs, eaten alive by the dispersed, lemurs. Their day is over but they continue to struggle.

The power of open source vs. closed source is a battle that is still shaping the next millennium. Both software engineers and cats understand this. The first has witnessed the change. The second simply refuses to be herded. It only takes a few to innovate. The rest follow.

The world is changing.

The last arenas to feel that change are government and its adjunct, law. They made grandiose and ruthless plans and those are now failing.

We all know about the Red and Blue Lists; we know that Bush and Cheney's plans include instituting martial law and incarcerating approximately eight million Americans whose ideas are hostile to their continued hijacking of America's wealth through the corporate system built up over the last century or more. If you can't control the cats then cage them, they cry.

Most of us have read about the spring night in 2004 when Acting Attorney James Comey, rushed to prevent Chief of Staff Andrew Card and then–White House counsel Alberto Gonzales, sent by George Bush, to bully the hospitalized John Ashcroft from signing papers that would have authorized a surveillance of Americans that they all knew to be entirely unconstitutional. The measure, known by the pompous name of “Continuity of Governance,” was the road map for martial law that would never end. Everyone knows that; in another spring, 2007, the same man, Comey, sat before Congress and told what had taken place that night. An article in Radar Magazine told the story a few days ago but most of us had already heard rumors.

Those in power have been making plans for a long time. They rely on signatures on pieces of paper to immunize them from their crimes. Sometimes those plans worked out; increasingly often they do not.

One of the six nuclear bombs that disappeared last summer left a radio-active crater in Peru, reported by Pravda, September 20, 2007. Naturally, here in the US it was a non-news item.

In most of the world the conflict within the United States over who will dominate is very much under discussion. They cannot change our direction. That, we need to do ourselves.

The problem is greed married to power without conscience. The problem is here.

Today ordinary people struggle to survive the meltdown of our economy, they tremble at the threat of rampant homelessness, a police militarization that has been linked into the use of government to convert all American institutions into reliable if shrinking streams of income which, in cookie cutter fashion, have been replicated everywhere to be changed as needed. One such change is in the offing.

Television and the Internet are merging; that was determined by the logic of technology. Who will be in control is the issue that excites the gluttonous appetites of corporate greed.

According to ipower.ning.com, 2012 will be the Year the Internet Ends . Given the propensities of those in power the wish to extend their business model, all too familiar to Americans today, into the ether regions is not surprising. The computer age is not the sort of thing that megacorporations tolerate. They see the enormous flow of energy and money that began to course through its invisible conduits. They drooled all over the desk of Kevin Martin, the troll of the FCC who has done all possible to give the control of the airways into their hands.

The rise of convergent technologies, technologies will blend all forms of communication into one mighty river; The greedy want control. They believe they are fighting each other, dinosaurs thrashing, clawing, and gouging, for the opportunity to plunder the tiny multitudes. They will fail.

People are open source minded. They move towards freedom whenever and where ever they can. They find or build tools as needed.

Those tools come from all directions. Today a book was republished, and it is a book that anyone who cares about freedom should read. It is a short book, written by a man who said it could be read while sipping a cup of coffee and eating a doughnut. The book talks about things that seem far removed from the open-closed source war, but it encapsulates another debate with the very same underpinnings. That is the militarization of our police and legacy given to us by our Founders and the displacement of that legacy, the Constitution and common law, by statute law and equity courts.

“The Proper Role of Law Enforcement - What Every Citizen Should Know. What Every Cop Should Believe” was originally published by Richard Mack, the Sheriff who first filed against the Brady Bill in 1994. Over the next five years the case worked its way up to the Supreme Court which handed down the opinion in 1998 that the sheriff of a county can make the determination of what is, and what is not, constitutional. The decision cheered gun advocates but it went much further than the 2nd Amendment in its implications.

The Constitution is an open source document, founded on the common law, which is the open source form for justice.

Statute law, code, and unending agencies constructed on the top-down hierarchal model, are government as we have come to know it. Statute is the artifact of top down thinking, telling us by demonstration that the individual has no power. Government and law perpetuate conflict, converting animosity and control into an industry that squeezes us dry, draining us through all of our relationships, including the most intimate.

It is an ugly picture. Justice should bring peace and with it, happiness. Today the justice system brings fear, bankruptcy, and unending conflict; it is war played out in our communities and lives.

The common law and the Constitution, used as intended by the Founders were reliable, inexpensive, and remained directly in the hands of the people. The Constitution and common law was power in the hands of the people, the open source for freedom, allowing individuals and communities to reduce their conflict and find peace.

Today Americans live in fear of the law. Today the law is war waged against each of us. Ask someone who is stopped for a traffic ticket if they are afraid. Ask a family how they feel when Child Protective Services comes to call.

The war in America is as deep and savage as that being waged in Iraq. It is war made on each of us.

In his book Sheriff Mack said, “ It is time that”…this nation under God, shall have a new birth of freedom… .” It’s time for law enforcement officers to get back to the basics of law enforcement for which their jobs were created---preserving our Constitution. Police have a difficult and thankless job. They put their lives on the line every day in a world affected by drugs and violence and social decay. May each of us in this most noble profession, as we pursue the guilty among us, never be guilty ourselves of the greater crime, that of violating our oath in God’s name to defend the constitutional rights of the people for whom we work.”

When you read the Mack book you cry. Hand it to the cop who wants to make his quota. Hand it to the judge who would hear your case. Give it to your neighbor who thinks there is a difference between McCain, Obama, and Clinton.

Those in power fear the Constitution. They jeer at the common law, but they are afraid. That is why the term, “Home-grown Terrorist,” was crafted. Threats and the posturing of authority are growing thin, and they know it.

The Constitution, laid on the foundation of common law, was intended to be the whole of the law. Read “The Role of Law Enforcement” and you will understand why they are afraid. They know we can still remember freedom.

Tin Hats, Truth, and Being Prepared for what will come.

Is it just fear? Speculation gone amok? A science fiction scenario that is taking flight in the imaginations of the tin hat brigade with too much time on their hands, still living in their mother's basements? No one knows for sure. But on the Internet and in quiet haunts across our nation many are saying that America is poised for THE false flag event.

Those talking have plenty to say. They claim that several previous events have been planned to happen and then called off because the administration was outed; this time, they say while firmly affixing their tin hats, that it may not happen. The stories are fascinating, reproduced here for your consideration. We live in strange times, times that have seen our nation move from surety and confidence to an abiding, and living in constant fear of those in control. Courts, known to be corrupt, steal and kill for profit, funneling money into their pockets through corporations listed on Dunn and Bradstreet; slowly Americans are beginning to realize, to their horror, that what they thought was a government is just another corporation out of Delaware. Today all counties and municipalities are incorporated; all look to the people as their source of income.

With shock, ordinary people read that they are listed as assets, dying to freedom at the same time they were born through the birth certificate their parents made out with love and pride. Many sites on line discuss the facts and provide the means for extracting yourself from that system. Generally these cost more than most people can afford. Americans are growing ever more uneasy and looking for solutions.

Americans watched the mortgage meltdown take place to be replaced, in the forefront of their minds, with the price of fuel; then, the specter of hunger arising from runaway inflation took their attention to be followed by the demise of the dollar. The unthinkable is coming from all directions. Speculations and theories that once seemed paranoid and irrational are suddenly less unthinkable.

Concern over the intentions of this administration has given rise to numerous scenarios, linking in the various known placements of troops, prison cars, and the interference with phone services, among many other questions. Tracking and falsification of banking transactions, the availability of food and fuel across the entire country; each of these gut issues are digging a chasm of fear miles deep.

Americans do not know what the future will bring. To understand that future they need to consider the past.

Even today most people do not know about the Gleiwitz incident. False Flag Events have been going on for a long time.

The Gleiwitz incident took place on 31 August 1939. It was carried out against the German radio station Sender Gleiwitz in Gleiwitz, Upper Silesia, Germany. A man, Franciszek Honiok, a German Silesian who sympathized with the Poles, was dressed to look like a saboteur. He was killed by lethal injection; his body shot, and then left dead at the scene. It appeared that he had been killed while attacking the station. His body became the proof the Hitler needed to invade Poland. This event was one of several, all orchestrated to provide that proof. Twenty one events took place during what was later called "Operation Himmler" . Hitler was later quoted as saying, "I will provide a propagandistic casus belli. Its credibility doesn't matter. The victor will not be asked whether he told the truth."

The Grandfather of George W. Bush was Prescott Bush, a US Senator who supported and through his financial interests, funded Nazi Germany. He attempted, in 1934, the take over of the US government through a military junta. U.S. Marine Corps Major General, Smedley Butler, the man who stopped the take over of America, said of those interests, "I spent 33 years and four months in active military service. During that period of time, I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.” Smedley Butler wrote “War is a Racket,” where the quote above was printed, so you would know the truth. It is a book you should read today. Butler, a two time recipient of the Medal of Honor, died June 21, 1940 at the age of 58.

Those responsible for what is referred to as The Business Plot, were never held accountable for the treason they planned. The Bush family could well be trying to finish the work of previous generations. June 30 – July 2, 1934 was the date of the "Nazi Night of the Long Knives;" now Americans fear the patterns that grow ever more similar. Watch what happens through this long summer.

Martial law is war made on people by their own government. What was true in Nazi Germany could happen here.

“Military maneuvers” are planned for Texas City, Texas, Indianapolis, Indiana, and for the area between Seattle and Portland on the West Coast. An incident that would cause damage in these areas would work to lower the cost of finishing the installation of the 'inland ports' for what is variously called, the "Security and Prosperity Partnership" (Note that is seems to be an official government site), or the North American Union.

The missing nuclear weapons from last September are still unaccounted for. Those involved are mostly dead, something those who carry out orders should take to heart. Loads of DU have been imported from Saudi Arabia, to be dumped on previously clean land in Idaho. Lines of rail road cars that are reported to be built with shackles for human limbs, are said to be parked and waiting in Montana, Indiana and elsewhere across the country. Facilities for incarceration, reportedly six hundred separate facilities able to hold several million people, are in readiness, some recycled from a similar period during the Nixon Administration.

Americans have been told to expect to see 'a training exercise' in which motorists, truckers, and others will be stopped and searched randomly from June 3rd to 5th. Movement will be severely restricted, providing more control of the population at the beginning of summer. Those tin hats can be warm during the summer months.

And then we have all of those executive orders, Bush's wish list for power. If Hitler had seen these he would have been struck dumb with admiration. (see the email below I got as I was working on this article.)

Those who note such things have commented that certain dates reoccur when such plans are in motion. The number 11, for instance, is often coupled with an odd numbered month.9/11. Along with the number '11' you often see the number 13, a number that evidently has some sort of significance to those involved in the esoteric and satanism. Strange, to those of us with more mainstream ideas. But as we all know, what people do is far more often true than is what they say. And most of us are not members of Skull and Bones or the CFR; we will not be attending the Bilderberg meeting this June 7, 2008 in Chantilly Virginia at the Westfields Marriott Hotel.

Across the country activists from the right, left, libertarian, conservative, and other movements, have reported problems with their bank accounts. Their phone service and their access to the Internet have also had unexpected problems. These are incidents that could be expected if those marked as 'home-grown terrorists' were to be taken into custody or killed, another scenario now widely discussed by those in tin hats. Some of this could be accounted for through the the double cashing of checks by banks. This happened to ensure their internal 'float' of cash on hand. As always, the public paid. That strategy kept banks from crashing last autumn when hundreds of thousands of Americans received notices that their bank balances were overdrawn.

Right now certain facts must occur to the socially aware and cautious citizen. Keeping your eyes open and staying aware and ready is like making sure your fire extinguisher is recharged. Fire happens.

Keep in mind that the present government went into power using voting machines that have been proven to be easily manipulated. The evidence, now overwhelming, points to the conclusion that all elections for the last decade having been stolen. If that is true then this follows.

Officials who went into office through fraud, could act legitimately. All actions taken while occupying the office, are illegal and they are personally liable for the full cost of those actions. Those who are noticed of these conditions, who are working under the authority of such officials, have an obligation to refuse to follow orders, which will necessarily be illegal. If they proceed to follow orders, having been noticed of the facts, they become themselves liable. Those precedents are grounded in our Constitution and from international law as well. If A, then B follows; The wary take note.

If those in power today are acting illegally, America is at war, a war that is real but undeclared. It is a war not against terrorists, but a war against Americans. That war is being prosecuted by those illegally holding power.

In that case, the government is the outlaw, and the people can rightfully and lawfully take action for themselves. As it said in the Declaration of Independence, “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

Those guys in the tin hats have been busy online. I scrounged around today, looking for items to edify. Then, just like magic, I received an email, copied and send many times. It began, amazingly, with more information about Hitler, pointing out that Hitler also used Executive Orders. Hitler murdered his political enemies and effectively declared martial law in Germany through a series of Executive Orders. That is the Night of the Long Knives, and should be placed next to those bills on, 'home-grown terrorism' and considered very carefully.

The rest of the email went on to say, ““On July 3, 1934 Hitler declared, "The measures taken on June 30, July 1 and 2 to suppress treasonous assaults are legal as acts of self-defense by the State.” and retrospectively legalized the murders committed during the purge by passing the "Law Regarding Measures of State Self-Defense"

In his July 13, 1934 speech to the Reichstag, Hitler declared himself as "the supreme judge of the German people", he formally adopted this title in April 1942, placing himself as sovereign and above the reach of the law. Here in the U.S. our government is granting itself similar sovereign powers and above the law, immune to prosecution for crimes committed against we the people.

Current U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy claims "The states' immunity from suit is a fundamental aspect of the sovereignty that the states enjoyed before the ratification of the Constitution (of the republic), and which they retain today." Unable to point to any part of the Constitution which grants the State sovereign powers, Kennedy instead claimed that the "founders' silence is most instructive", claiming that because there is no granting of sovereign powers to the State in the Constitution, therefore it’s there. Kennedy stated "We reject any contention that substantive federal law by its own force necessarily overrides the sovereign immunity of the states." His opinion was joined by Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist and Justices Sandra Day O'Connor, Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas. These are the same judges who placed George W. Bush on the throne after Bush lost the popular vote.

A retired German captain, Erwin Planck, commented to his friend, General Werner von Fritsch regarding Hitler’s actions "if you look on without lifting a finger, you will meet the same fate sooner or later." In 1804, Samuel Chase, Supreme Court Justice and signer of the Declaration of Independence said "either we all hang together, or we most assuredly will all hang separately".

Clearly this administration is desperate to declare Martial Law:

Hitler turned Germany into a Nazi dictatorship through executive orders = Evidently some U.S. Presidents Paid Attention:
* Executive Order 10995: All communications media are to be seized by the Federal Government. Radio, TV, newspapers, CB, Ham, telephones, and the Internet will be under federal control. Hence, the First Amendment will be suspended indefinitely.

* Executive Order 10997: All electrical power, fuels, and all minerals well be seized by the federal government.

* Executive Order 10998: All food resources, farms and farm equipment will be seized by the government. You will not be allowed to hoard food since this is regulated.

* Executive Order 10999: All modes of transportation will go into government control. Any vehicle can be seized.

* Executive Order 11000: All civilians can be used for work under federal supervision.

* Executive Order 11490: Establishes presidential control over all US citizens, businesses, and churches in time of "emergency."

Executive Order 11921: Provides that the President can declare a state of emergency that is not defined, and Congress cannot review the action for six months.

* Executive Order 12919: Directs various Cabinet officials to be constantly ready to take over virtually all aspects of the US economy during a State of National Emergency at the direction of the president.

* Executive Order 13010: Directs FEMA to take control over all government agencies in time of emergency. FEMA is under control of executive branch of the government.

* Executive Order 12656: "ASSIGNMENT OF EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS RESPONSIBILITIES", "A national emergency is any occurrence, including natural disaster, military attack, technological emergency, or other emergency that seriously degrades or seriously threatens the national security of the United States. Policy for national security emergency preparedness shall be established by the President." This order includes federal takeover of all local law enforcement agencies, wage and price controls, prohibits you from moving assets in or out of the United States, creates a draft, controls all travel in and out of the United States, and much more.

The list goes on: Bush's Mein Kampf: The Patriot Act - Guilty without the right to prove innocence; Torture; SEC's global dominance through SOX and the following:

Army Regulation 210–35 Civilian Inmate Labor Program: Confirming the government and the Army's plans for U.S. based Concentration Camps:

Military Commissions Act The enactment of concentration camps in the U.S. and the ability of the President to throw whoever he wants in the camps without question. This act is one of the most extraordinarily outrageous attempts to pass unconstitutional law and is the greatest assault on the U.S. Constitution imaginable. All involved in the commission of this unlawful act have committed high treason against the U.S.A. and should immediately be prosecuted.

Elimination of Posse Commitatus Act: In early 2006 Congress passed bill H.R.5122 granting the President the right to commandeer Federal and State National Guard Troops for use against citizens. The bill is entitled the John Warner Defense Appropriation Act for Fiscal Year 2007. Section 1076 of H.R. 5122.ENR allows the President to:
“...employ the armed forces, including the National Guard in Federal service, to... restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition in any State or possession of the United States..., where the President determines that,...domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order; suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy...” This act nullifies the Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C. 331-335) and gives the President the legal ability to declare Martial Law under any condition he so chooses.””

From there the writer went into what to do about such appalling and illegal behavior. You find amazing things via the Internet.

What to do when the State Turns Into An Enemy Combatant:

  1. Early Warning – Learn to identify potential False Flag Ops

  2. Publish and announce any potential False Flag
This makes it impossible for the criminals to carry out the False Flag as pre-announcement destroys the surprise and will result in what is called "b
    low back".

  3. Secure Yourself & Your Family

  4. Know your neighbors & friends – discuss multiple emergency plans with them.

  5. Setup Neighborhood Watch & Appoint a Peace Officer

  6. Identify and plan escape routs and plans.
However, be cautions, history has shown neighbors often hand victims over to the state.

  7. Video Tape & Record all actions by ‘authorities’

  8. Publish & Post reports on civil rights violations

  9. Monitor Police Channels, News and Internet.

  10. Avoid the ‘authorities’ if you can.

  11. Carefully Identify and photograph any person claiming ‘martial law authority’
Key to accountability is identity government officials committing crimes need to know that the public will personally come after them en-mass. As for their card, badge number, oath of office and bond, get them to sign affirmation that they are under oath and bond. Turn the tide of questions and accountability onto them. Ask questions.

  12. Secure your Arms
The 2nd Amendment is explicit, you have a right to bare arms and the government does not have any right to take them. Recognize a corrupt government fears armed citizens – that is the purpose of the 2nd. If necessary hide your arms to avoid confiscation.

  13. Be slow to shoot
If you have to shoot, shoot accurately and ensure you have an escape rout so that you can shoot another day.

  14. Maintain sufficient emergency food supplies

  15. Protect Patriotic Leaders and hide them if necessary
Developing code words and communication is often necessary.

  16. Arrest ‘authorities’ committing crimes in your neighborhood (careful coordination necessary – videotape if you can’t arrest)

  17. Setup Common Law Courts and Grand Juries to indict and prosecute through quo warranto government officials who break the law.

What when your friends and patriots are arrested?

  1. Identify where they have been taken

  2. Immediately personally contact the personnel at the jail where they are held
In the event of the Concentration Camps being activated across the U.S. the staff working at the Concentration Camps must be personally identified along with their families. Contact their family members and ask for their help. When these criminals know that people are contacting their family members they tend to back off. One of the most effective ways to get people released is to focus on the local officers. Their authorities are the ones who order the false arrests and are unlikely to cooperate with any release.

  3. Setup vigils of protesters with bullhorns and signs outside the jails and concentration camps.”

And that is what you can find when you look. Obviously, the writer's tin hat is of long duration and he or she has put a lot of thought into really horrific scenarios.

Let's hope that nothing happens in the coming weeks. We have a lot to do anyway, just to survive and rebuild our communities. Instead of endless horror let's hope that America's military comes home from every place; let's help them heal themselves. Let us begin to rebuild America, coming together past the divisions of right and left to find each other. Let's hope for peace; let that begin now in each of us.

Growing Carrots for Freedom and for America

Carrots can fight back. I remember when my youngest daughter, Ayn pulled out one carrot and it suddenly let go after resisting. Plump, she went right on her bottom, looking surprised. Then she started to laugh, still holding on to that carrot. Then she ate it. It was a long time ago.

Back then I tried to grow all of our food because I knew it was much healthier. Also cheaper. That meant time in the garden with the kids. Those were good times that still make me smile. Such are the moments you treasure, along with the luminescent expression on a child's face when they figure something out. Like how to tie their shoe or get the kite up by themselves. What we remember through a glaze of tears are the things that last.

I can remember when I was little myself. Sitting in the backyard of our house on Colby Avenue in West Los Angeles I would listen with fascination to Mr. Bell, my friend Alan's grandpa, from across the street, tell me about what it was like to be a Pony Express Rider. He remembered the sound of the wind, the feel of his horse, sweating as the sun fried his face even under his hat. He told me the elation he felt when he arrived yet again unscathed. Listening still connects me to him and to the history of the country I love.

Most of us today are hungry for that sense of connection and for more things in our lives that are worth remembering; the things you take with you no matter what else happens. The good news is that we can have them. The bad news, if it is bad, is that we will have to give up on piles of things that we don't remember and on working hard to have nothing much worth the effort.

We need to give up on the idea of being a world power, having our children go off to die in wars that are about corporate profits. And, finally, we need to remember the vision that is still the America we love. That vision drew millions to the promise of what could be when a people were free to live their lives for themselves, in community with others. Close you eyes and see how it was for them. It was never about wealth, it was about hope, security, watching your children grow up strong and free. It was about realizing the best in yourself and showing respect for others. It was and is about community; looking into the eyes of people and finding those connections that last a life time. It is about doing the right thing because you know it matters. Each of these involves a choice. Each of those choices take us back to the freedom that makes human relationships work. When you choose right everything else falls into place.

America is the place where freedom was first recognized as an inherent part of our nature; a gift of God existing before government. Then it was understood that government had no rights, being a simple organizing tool to be changed at our will. That was the real Revolution, the change of ideas. We need to remember that truth.

When you stand on a firm foundation of values, honesty, integrity, community, you do not need to be afraid. Today we are just that, afraid. In this America we have learned to fear things that would have astonished our parents.

Today we worry when we see a police car; we worry about the steady increase of executive orders that ignore the Constitution. We see the direction of an administration that does not even bother to pretend it is acting within the law. We stand at risk, the stark reality of a police state staring us in the face. Shaking out heads we wonder how we arrived at this insanity.

America is now looking at a projected minimum of two million foreclosures in the coming year. We are watching with horror and disbelief as the economy melts down into a sizzling puddle of unidentifiable goo and tent cities spring up to hold the dispossessed. An unsettling rumor is now circulating that in early May the Amero will begin circulating. The Trans Texas Corridor continues to be built, eviscerating our nation, the product of that ugly union of government and corporations. And none of it was an accident. Each step followed the logic of greed, using deceit as its tool and concentrating power as its means.

The steady trend over the last 200 years has been to a centralization of power that allows the extinguishing of the rights of individuals and evasion of accountability for those in power. Each of these changes over time have resulted in the conversion of our institutions to the control of corporations and those who hold power through government.

We are now clear about what does not work. It is time to hit the reboot button.

America began with a Revolution that was organized from the small towns across the colonies. They had reached a common understanding of the rightness of their cause from the Internet of the day. That was the Committees of Correspondence and the letters outlining the issues that were passed from hand to hand among a population that was highly literate and had, for generations, participated in militias that were sponsored by towns, most of these less than a thousand individuals. They were a people who knew each other very personally. Men brought their own guns and ammunition to the Commons. They knew that duty demanded they be ready to act. Community mattered and the tool for decision making was not the vote, it was persuasion and consensus. This ensured that all were heard and all were respected. It built and reinforced strong community values. The solution is a return to community and the values that made America possible.

We can take back America building from the county level and stopping right there. Let the rest wither away as an unwatered weed.

For us the target unit of action should be the county. The sheriff of your local county is the top law enforcement officer, entitled to order out or arrest those who violate the rights of residents. There are men and women who are not afraid to speak the truth and for the Constitution. Sheriff Richard Mack, the proponent for the Mack – Printz Decision that overthrew the Brady Bill and affirmed the wisdom of the Constitution, stood tall when he said NO to the Feds. Other sheriffs can learn to stand tall, too. We can help them understand what their oath means.

With some exceptions most counties in the US are small enough to be reformed, their offices filled, through the concerted efforts of a small group of determined individuals who win election to essential offices. The excess infrastructure of the county should be pruned. During the coming readjustment we will need cutbacks that place the nexus of control firmly in the hands of the people who will handle those services they still deem to be necessary themselves.

It will be a time filled with challenges and changes. We will each of us grow with it.

Food grown locally will ensure it is there to nourish us and lower the need for oil. Locally grown food helps local small farms survive and provides excellent nutrition that builds our ability to flourish. Good nutrition is the too long ignored essential to simple good health and factory food is devoid of essential value. Medical bills will decline. Local food also provides the possibility of new local business as our values shift to those things that last, that are worth remembering.

And Americans will rediscover their ability to innovate. Energy, transportation, our spiritual foundations; each is ready for many changes. Expect surprises that remake the world. We will live differently and better, finding the things that convert hope to reality.

In the end America can emerge from the fire reborn for a freedom that is newly understood and vastly more valued. America is still the unrealized vision, the hope for all our tomorrows.

And a new generation of Ayns will learn to eat carrots that they have watched growing and smile when the carrot pops out of the soil, ready for the eating.
